@bamadesigner I have to believe that people must think your last name can’t be as simple as it just being the fruit. They maybe are trying not to offend you? People say my last name like if it was Bolt even though it’s actually pronounced with a hard e as if it was Noltee.

@ChrisWiegman @simple @BBVA_USA Honestly, @simple was providing something I’ve never seen any other bank do. Every other bank is doing crap in this sort of money management area from what I have seen.

@ChrisWiegman @simple @BBVA_USA Yeah, that is my problem all of those solutions are completely disconnected and only reference some huge checking account balance, or categorize things that have already been spent.

@ChrisWiegman @simple @BBVA_USA I don’t want to have to track things in some disconnected spreadsheet or expenses tracking app/service that can only make guesses based on being updated via cron on what your current checking balance is, like @mint.

@ChrisWiegman @simple @BBVA_USA So the key things are automatically moving money to goals and expenses out of the general checking balance. When my direct deposits come in money is automatically moved to categorized expense “accounts”. Some money moves daily to savings goal “accounts”.

OK Twitter friends I need some recommendations. I’ve been using @simple for years and it has been key to managing our finances. Was just informed today that @BBVA_USA is shutting them down. Now I need to look for an alternative banking solution that provides the same services.
